Post Treatment Balm

POST TREATMENT BALM with LORENOL® I is designed to help diminish inflammation, pain, and moisture loss immediately upon application.  

This formula helps to soothe skin and provides a "seal" against air and the environment. Dehydrated skin, in particular, cannot repair itself, which is why this soothing balm has been specially created with gentle plant-derived oils, including broccoli seed oil, to help protect, hydrate, and soothe skin immediately upon application. 

This product does not contain emulsifiers, which ensures that it remains non-irritating. It is gentle enough to be used on skin that has been abraded or affected by ablative skin resurfacing, medical procedures, burns, and open sores.

Science

Many standard cosmetic medical procedures, such as chemical peels, laser treatments, and in-office procedures, including plastic surgery, Mohs surgery, and injections, can cause post-procedure inflammation and discomfort. Prolonged inflammation can lead to changes in the skin and cause scarring, hyperpigmentation, and even premature aging of the treated area.

Post Treatment Balm is recommended for the relief of painful, red, inflamed skin caused by cuts, burns, insect bites, eczema, professional medical treatments, and surgical procedures.

USE OF POST-TREATMENT BALM & SOOTHING SILVER

Post Treatment Balm and Soothing Silver Cream each contain our proprietary LORENOL® I  technology. Both products are designed to help minimize discomfort and accelerate skin recovery from post-ablative and non-ablative treatments. While each product is designed to accelerate healing, the SOOTHING SILVER CREAM should NEVER be used on open or ablated skin, and application is advised ONLY 24 hours subsequent to post-treatment to avoid pain and discomfort. Each product is explicitly designed to help with post-ablative and post-surgical dehydration and itching. Application of any cream on open skin WILL cause stinging if applied before the healing phase.
